I've built a couple of sample surveys and am noticing that answers types based on XML files aren't showing up for me in the survey reporting.

The XML files are pretty basic, just templates for Yes/No, department names, etc. When I go to the reporting section these don't show up in the SurveyQuestions user-control for selection, and they also do not show when I select the "Show All Questions" option.

Am I missing something when I'm setting up my new answer types?

Hello Rick,

You've correctly pointed out a feature that is not part of the Survey 1.2.2.version (based on Nsurvey 19). Certain questions e.g. with xml based answers and/ or free text answers are not shown through the reporting options. This was solved in the (commercialised) Nsurvey 2.* version when a lot of new reporting options were built in. 

Extended reporting options is certainly high on the list of wanted features for one of the next Survey versions. In short you haven't missed out on anything. If possible you could try to write your own queries or use an export of the data to a CSV or XML file for now.
