I'm having a very similar issue trying to get started with the latest build (54988).

In VS 2005 (with Web App Project update) I can open the solution (.sln), select the web app and 'rebuild web site' - it completes and says it has succeeded but does not update bin/votations.nsurvey.webadmin.dll. If I re-build the solution it builds all the other dll's, but not in the bin/ folder, just in the Reflector folders (i.e. Reflector\Nsurvey_BE\bin\Debug\Votations.NSurvey.BE.dll).

If I try opening the project file (.csproj) I no longer get the 'Build Solution' options, but when I build the website I get the same as before. It says it has succeeded, but no new votation.nsurvey.webadmin.dll.

I've also tried sw20rules' suggestion in VS 2008, but when I try I get a series of errors along the lines of "The namespace 'Votations'NSurvey.WebAdmin.UserControls' already contains a definition for 'MenuItems'"

All I'm trying to do is make a couple of fairly simple changes to the code-behind files of some of the user controls but I just can't find a way to re-build votations.nsurvey.webadmin.dll - am I going about this the right way?
