Hi,

I'm having a little trouble figuring with the forms authentication.  When I use the friendly URL while not logged in, the Default.aspx comes up as expected.  Onced logged in, the return URL doesn't load.  Instead the survey list comes up.

Is there something I can do so that the user doesn't see this admin tool?

Thanks.

Hello,

Based on your description it's quite difficult to understand what you are trying to accomplish and what settings you have used. To avoid showing the surveylist after loging in you can create a Role with the Survey Taker option only. Next add the user to this Role and add assign the survey to the user.

Now if you login you will no longer see the surveylist. If multiple surveys are assigned to the user a dropdownlist will be shown on the Take Survey page. Make sure to check the Active setting at Survey Settings.

Hope this helps.

I'm looking for ways to direct the user on login, so they don't get the "Unauthorized" message and they straight to the list of surveys for which they are authorized.

Hello,

Its not possible to go straight to the Take surveys page right now. I agree it would be more userfriendly but needs some code changing (possible feature for next release).

You could add the "accesssurveylist" roleright to avoid the unauthorised message for now.
