As you may have noticed new Survey Project Solution Helpfiles as created by MS Sandcastle (HtmlHelp1 based .CHM files) were published at http://survey.codeplex.com/releases/view/60959 The purpose of these helpfiles is to provide developers with technical documentation and descriptions of the Survey source code.
The Sandcaste projectfiles have become part of the Survey Solution and projects and are currently published as part of the Survey 1.2.3 alpha branch sourcecode at http://survey.codeplex.com/SourceControl/changeset/view/63450
Through the Survey 1.2.3 alpha branch an upgraded .NET 4.* / C# 4.0 version of Survey is developed.
The content of the Sandcaste helpfiles is derived automatically (see SharpDevelop 4.0 and the use of Sandcastle) from the Survey assemblies (dll's) and the commented code inside the .cs sourcefiles.
A lot of code has not been commented yet and we hope the integration of these new helpfiles into the surveyproject will stimulate the proper commenting of new code. Also we hope to raise enthousiasm to start adding comments to the existing sourcecode.
