I'm having a challenge trying to import a 1.1.0 version survey into version 1.2.3

The DB is a New Install for 1.2.3

The xml import fails with:

Failed to enable constraints. One or more rows contain values violating non-null, unique, or foreign-key constraints.

Any suggestions would be warmly welcomed!

I don't see any changes in the XML structure so, it's a DB issue?

*** UPDATE - THe Survey will import questions. It only fails when trying to import answers.

I've emptied the Questions/ANswers/ANswer types and and Survey Tables to try and avoid any conflicts.

Hello,

Unfortunately there is no simple solution to import 1.1.0 xml export files into a 1.2.3. version (both are no longer actively supported). As is suggested in the Readme.txt file in the license directory: experimenting and manual changes may be necessary.

Some tips:
- compare the 1.1.0 file to the sample surveys that  are part of the 1.2.3. version (_FormSamples directory)
- "clean" the 1.1.0 file and try to import only one question and answer first to check results
- try changing survey title  and id (<SurveyID>)

The answer types tables  should not be empty. Try reinstalling the 1.2.3. version (or at least recreate a new clean 1.2.3 db) before trying another import.

If nothing works you may send a copy of the xml file to mail@surveyproject.org We will be able to check the file early next week.
