Hi,

I just got it installed and I'm loving it, super powerful tool and thanks to all working on it! It's just what I've been looking for an internal survey we're doing in my company.

I've installed, changed the templates/ design and created the survey, everything is working fine except for user and user roles - is there anything else that I need to do when I create a user?

So, i create a user with 'report viewer' role - the one that comes by default. When I login I get:

Unauthorized.
Access is denied due to invalid credentials.

And then, if I click anywhere I get:

No survey selected. Please create or choose a Survey first.

Even though the user is assigned to all surveys.

Apologies if this has been posted already, couldn't find it!

And many thanks for any help.

Hello,

Nice to hear you like the tool, thanks for mentioning that. Concerning the users/roles, you can check the helpmenu/ helpfiles Roles & Usermanagement for a general introduction.

One option you may have missed: if you edit the user and set Assign all surveys, make sure to click the Apply Changes button also to update (you should see all assigned surveys in the right listbox - greyed out).

Once this is set properly on login you may still get the first warning message. Next if you select menu reports it should be fine. To get rid of the first message you have to add more options to the role (e.g. AccessSurveyList).

Hope this will help.
