Hello,

To be of any help  can you please provide more information:
- SP version used?
- IE version used?
- any screenprints or error messages or a clear description what actions you take and what goes wrong at what point?
- did you try and succeed with an other browser?

SP 2.4. is testen and compatible with the latest verions of Chrome, Firefox an IE/Edge. Maybe you can get more details from the IT 'guys' on what goes wrong in IE?
