Using SP v1.2.3

After creating a new user, when I try to login with the new user account I get the following error message:

Unauthorized!
Access is denied due to invalid credentials

I did check on the new user password and it is correct. But I am not sure why I am getting the invalid credentils error message.

Please note that besides creating a user you have to assign a role to the user (create role first). A role is a collection of rights that can be selected while creating the role. Finally assign one or more surveys to the user. 

Now if you login you will access based on role/ rolerights and surveys assigned. Hope this will help.
